Driven by Norway’s 55% CO₂ reduction target, Nordic Office of Architecture is developing a “Carbon Mapping” process that embeds embodied carbon data directly into Revit elements in early design. This allows rapid testing of alternative material assemblies without the need for highly detailed models. Quantities and emission factors flow seamlessly into connected spreadsheets and Power BI dashboards, providing reliable, continuously updated insight for the entire project team.
In this webinar, we demonstrate how carbon data can become an integrated part of the design process rather than a parallel calculation. We share early experiences from implementation and show how structured data can sharpen material choices and clarify trade-offs from the very beginning of a project.
